We’ve MOVED
Check out the newest illustration and design goodies by Chris Olson over at her new and improved website chrisolsondesigns.com.
My name is Chris Olson and my design studio is in Colorado. I am a visual designer focusing on product design, illustration, iconography, and using typography, color, patterns, and textures in projects to create a consistent and accessible design.
In the last year, I started focusing more on UI/UX design because I like understanding the user’s experience and solving their pain points. I also like the fact that UI/UX also utilizes research and data. I am passionate about designing engaging mobile apps and custom websites that connect a brand with its audience. My goal with projects is to create on-screen experiences that connect, teach, communicate and inspire.
There are many different ways I collaborate on projects, and you can view my services and deliverables here. I also partner with brands to help them develop a marketing strategy using design and illustration in social media, webinars, and events. Projects include custom-branded content through design, writing, and editorial direction. My expertise in graphic design, product design, illustration, social media, and interactive design helps me offer a well-rounded, creative approach to successful design and branding solutions. I am skilled at trend research, building brand boards, mood boards, and creative briefs.

Design Awards
I was thrilled and honored to receive the Pattern Observer Award of Excellence. Pattern Observer's goal is to support, inspire and promote both emerging and established designers as they grow their businesses and careers. According to Pattern Observer: "We would like to recognize these designers who have taken our series of workshops and exceeded our expectations with the Pattern Observer “Award of Excellence.” Designers who have earned our “Award of Excellence” have proven themselves to be talented artists, trustworthy partners, and emerging leaders in our industry. They have experience in the apparel, home decor and quilting markets and are working with clients around the globe. Interested pattern buyers should reach out to each designer through their website."
